The series, A Tangled Tale, is about Alzheimer’s disease.

Towards the end of her life, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Our ability to communicate with each other changed on a daily basis.
Some days I was able to reach through the tangles of the disease to find her, confused and muddled but still there. Other days, I found a younger woman who was, once again, a mother holding her baby or sometimes I found her still a nurse in a tidy white uniform.

Finally, at the end, all I could locate was a shadow.
